Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This policy covers every Android app published by Sapp Labs:
com.gappstudios.autowifi3gdataswitch.san.basicpdfviewercom.docxreader.sapplabs.docxreadercom.sapplabs.excelreaderWe're a small, independent developer, not a company with a data-collection business model. These apps are built to do one job — open a file — and get out of your way.
Your files
Every file you open is read and rendered entirely on your device. None of these apps upload, transmit, or otherwise send the contents of your files anywhere. Files are only ever read — never modified or deleted by the app itself.
The "All files access" permission
Each app requests Android's All files access permission (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) so it can list and open supported files already on your device, without you having to pick each one individually through a file browser. This permission is used solely to find and open files of the type that app supports (PDF, DOCX, or XLSX/CSV) — it is never used to read, modify, or transmit any other file or data on your device. You can decline this permission and still open individual files directly through your device's file manager or another app's "Share"/"Open with" menu.
Advertising (PDF Reader and Docx Reader only)
PDF Reader and Docx Reader are supported by ads so they can stay free. They use Unity LevelPlay (formerly ironSource) as an ad mediation service, which may serve ads from several networks including Google AdMob and Unity Ads. Excel Reader does not currently include any ads, ad SDKs, or internet access.
To serve and measure ads, these mediation and ad-network SDKs may collect:
- Advertising ID and other device identifiers
- General device and app information (e.g. device model, OS version, app version)
- Approximate ad interaction data (e.g. which ads were shown or tapped)
- A list of other apps installed on your device, used by our ad mediation provider for ad relevance and fraud prevention
This data may be shared with Unity, Google, and the specific ad networks active in a given ad request, for the purpose of serving and measuring ads and preventing ad fraud. Each of these companies handles data under its own privacy policy:
What we don't collect
None of these apps ask for your name, email address, phone number, or postal address, and none of them require creating an account or signing in.
Children's privacy
These apps are general-audience utility apps and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and none of these apps participate in Google Play's Designed for Families program.
Data retention and deletion
Since there's no account or server-side profile, uninstalling an app removes all of its local data from your device. Any data collected by the third-party ad SDKs described above is retained according to those companies' own policies, linked above.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date above.
